FAQs

  • ROSS Electronics guitar pedals are backed by a one (1) year warranty from the date of purchase for any problem related to the function or operation of that pedal due to faulty parts and/or other internal problem. We warrant this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use. This warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

Outside of the USA, various International distributor warranty policies may supersede our original manufacturer’s warranty.

In the USA, we can provide shipping labels for products that are less than 30 days old. Otherwise, the customer will be responsible for any costs associated with shipping.

All international repairs (warranty or non-warranty) will have an automatic $25 return shipping fee.

We do not cover things such as broken knobs, pots and jacks due to abuse, however, we will repair issues like these or other non-warranty issues at a reasonable price.

Some of our products contain internal trim pots which are set for the function of the circuit, and it should be noted that tampering with the trim pots will void the warranty.

This warranty does not cover loss/theft, damage caused by misuse, modification, abuse, accident, natural disaster or unauthorized repair.

  • ROSS pedals purchased at ROSSelectronics.com may be returned for refund within 10 business days of shipment. Refund will be issued upon receipt of the returned item(s) and proper inspection. A 25% restocking fee may be assess if the item shows damages, scratches, use of velcro, or in any other way is not in new condition.

All items purchased from authorized ROSS Dealers are subject to the Dealer’s terms and conditions for Returns. We will only accept returns for purchases made on ROSSelectronics.com.

  • International shipping rate only covers the shipping cost and does not include duties, taxes or any other import charges levied by the importing country. For non-USA shipments ROSS Electronics is not liable for any local import duties and taxes.

In case of failure to collect the package or refusal of the delivery from the recipient, the return shipping costs (including any duties/taxes) will be deducted from the refund. A restocking fee may be applied if the item is not in like-new condition upon return.

I need to send a pedal in to be repaired. What do I do next?

Hey, stuff breaks occasionally and we’re here to help. If you need your pedal repaired, check out our Repairs Inquiry page and get in touch with us about what the problem may or may not be.  Many problems can be resolved with some nifty troubleshooting, because in many scenarios the pedal itself may not even be broken. We’ll help you figure out whether or not it should be sent to us for a diagnosis and/or repair.

Can I talk to someone to get general advice about pedals?

There are some great online forums and resources that are free and easily accessible where you can find opinions and answers to almost anything related to guitar pedals, guitars, amps, rigs, and tone.   That being said, we’re happy to answer general questions specific to ROSS.

What type of power supply do your pedals require?

All of our pedals use a standard 9V DC adapter, center negative, unless specified on the individual pedal’s product page. We recommend any high-quality supply that utilizes isolated power.  This would include the Voodoo Lab PP2+ or the IS0-5 and several other brands/models. ONLY purchase and use power supplies made specifically for guitar pedals like the said products.  Choosing a high quality power supply is frequently overlooked when purchasing pedals and building a pedal board, but it can be one of the most important factors in operating your pedal board to its fullest potential and creating great tone.  We also discourage using “daisy-chained” power as well. None of our pedals include 9v battery connectors.

What is the current draw of my pedal?

Milliamp (mA) current draws can be found at the bottom of the page for each respective pedal.

Can I apply for an Artist Endorsement?

We are a small business and do not pay artists/musicians to use our products.  We do have an official Artist endorsement/sponsorship program that offers meek discounts on our pedals.  If you’d like to apply for an official JHS endorsement/sponsorship, please fill out the artist inquiry form.

How do you handle non-warranty repairs?

Some non-warranty repairs are possible for a reasonable fee. At times damages may extend beyond what is possible to repair.

Do you offer refunds?

Purchases at RossElectronics.com may qualify to be returned for refund. Please see the refunds section above.

Do you repair vintage or “Era4” (2018-19) ROSS pedals?

Unfortunately no, ROSS Electronics will only support and/or repair our ROSS products beginning with units manufactured in 2023 and onwards. We will not facility warranty repairs on pre-2023 “Era 5” ROSS products.

Can you build out an entire pedal board for me?

We do not offer this service.

Can we visit your shop?

Our production facility is closed to the public.  We do not offer tours or special visits mainly because we do not have the support staff to schedule and/or give tours.
